The Virg Bernero for Governor campaign today officially opened a Detroit campaign office Friday to coordinate field operations and volunteers in southeast Michigan.
The campaign office is at 3161 E. Jefferson Avenue. The campaign headquarters can be reached at 517- 999-8696.
Bernero faces state House Speaker Andy Dillon in the Aug. 3 Democratic primary. The winner fill face the winner of the Republican primary in November. Republicans seeking their party's nomination are Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard, Ann Arbor businessman Rick Snyder, U.S. Rep. Pete Hoekstra, Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox and state Sen. Tom George.
