DeVos endorses Cox

Former Michigan Republican gubernatorial candidate Dick DeVos and former Michigan Republican Party Chairwoman Betsy DeVos have endorsed Michigan Attorney General  Mike Cox in the 2010 race for governor:

Their endorsement comes the same day Cox received the endorsement of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce and job makers across the state.

Also seeking the GOP nomination for governor in the Aug. 3 primary are Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard, Ann Arbor businessman Rick Snyder, U.S. Rep. Pete Hoekstra and state Sen. Tom George.

Seeking the Democratic nomination are state House Speaker Andy Dillon and Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero.

The winner of the Aug. 3 Republican and Democratic primaries face each other on the Nov. 2 ballot.
