Democrats: Michigan Rep. Bentivolio should get coal for Christmas for suggesting impeachment of President Obama

Michigan Democrats are taking aim at U.S. Rep. Kerry Bentivolio, a Milford, Mich., Republican, for saying recently that impeaching President Barack Obama would be a dream come true.
On a video released on YouTube Thursday, Democrats poke fun at Bentivolio, amongst other things a reindeer farmer, saying he needs a lump of coal as a Christmas present.

If anything, Democrats are indicating they intend to try to claim the seat in 2014 from Bentivolio, who was elected during a tumultuous 2012 that saw incumbent Republican Rep. Thaddeus McCotter quit after he failed to file enough valid signatures to get on the ballot, a situation that ultimately resulted in the prosecution of some of his staff for election fraud.
The 11th Congressional District Bentivolio represents includes a large chunk of Oakland County, specifically the communities of Auburn Hills, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, part of Clawson, Commerce Township, Farmington, Highland Township, Lake Angelus, Lyon Township, Milford Village, Milford Township, Northville, Novi, Novi Township, part of Rochester Hills, South Lyon, Troy, Walled Lake, Waterford Township, part of West Bloomfield Township, White Lake Township, Wixom and Wolverine Lake, as well as the Wayne County communities of Canton Township, Livonia, Northville Township, Plymouth and Plymouth Township.
The district became more Republican-leaning in 2013 after new district boundaries took effect, shifting more of it into Oakland County from Wayne County.
But Democrats say Oakland County has been demographically drifting more towards their party in recent years.
