Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder to seek a second term?

Michigan's Republican Gov. Rick Snyder has two years to go in his first four-year term as governor. There's signs his political opponents, i.e. Democrats, won't be happy with him in two years (not that they're pleased with him now.)
Though the 2014 gubernatorial election is still two years off, Snyder is indicating he's up for a second term.
In an email Saturday to Republicans urging them to re-elect Michigan Republican Party Chairman Bobby Schostak as party chairman in February, Snyder let slip twice that he plans to be around for a second term.

"I will be taking a more active role in helping our party achieve success in 2014, as I did in 2010," the email attributed to Snyder said.
  And:
"We can do great things, together. Remember what we achieved in just the first two years. Just imagine what we can achieve in the next six."
Or maybe that's just his political action committee talking.
The bottom of the email bearing the governor's signatures said it was paid for by the Governor's Club, a political action committee based in Lansing and organized as a 527 committee, which refers to the section of the federal tax code that governs its organization.
  What do you think?
  Here's the entire email:

  "Dear Republican -
A little over two years ago, you and I were part of a movement that led to the transformation of our state. Michigan had record unemployment, our young people were fleeing our borders for opportunity, and our state finances were a mess.
I ran a positive campaign in 2010 that rejected our position at the bottom of the economic food chain.
I called it Michigan 3.0: the Era of Innovation. But it was never about me. It was about we. This was about building an environment of success around our people and putting us on a path to economic recovery so that our children and grandchildren could make a life here.
You, the grassroots base of our party, worked hard, knocked doors, made phone calls, texted friends, sent emails, made donations, and did what it took to change the direction of our state. The voters liked what we had to say and elected a Republican Governor and a Republican legislature. You were an important part of that success.
Once we took office we immediately made some tough decisions in order to begin to put Michigan on a path to recovery. Some of those decisions weren’t popular, but they were necessary for economic recovery to take hold. Consider some of what we accomplished together:
   - Balanced budget, delivered in record time with no accounting gimmicks
   - Reduced debt by billions
   - Abolished the job-killing Michigan Business Tax
   - Added meaningful educational reforms
   - Regulatory reform, eliminated ten regulations for every new one passed
These accomplishments are producing real results. We now have one of the fastest growing economies in the nation, the private sector is creating jobs again, and our population is growing for the first time in 8 years.
We need a strong Republican Party in order to continue this success. We had some challenges nationally in 2012 but we can be proud of the results at the state level. The Republican State House was re-elected to join a Republican State Senate and my administration, a rule of law Supreme Court was returned, we held the congressional delegation and special interest attempts to amend the constitution were defeated. This was a team effort. Thank you for all you have done.
I am writing you today to ask you to join me in supporting Bobby Schostak for re-election as our Party Chairman. Bobby has built a strong team and supported it with the resources necessary to get our message out. We need his leadership to continue.
I will be taking a more active role in helping our party achieve success in 2014, as I did in 2010. We will lead the country in technology and outreach, run a positive campaign based on our successes and vision, and come fall, we will win.
We can do great things, together. Remember what we achieved in just the first two years. Just imagine what we can achieve in the next six.
I hope you will join me in supporting Bobby Schostak for re-election as we work towards making those dreams reality.

Sincerely,
Governor Rick Snyder"
