Republicans plan rally in Waterford Oct. 29

  Michigan Republican candidates plan to rally in Waterford Township Friday, Oct. 29, four days in advance of the Nov. 2 election.

  The rally is at 5 p.m. at the Oakland Air Hangar at Oakland County International Airport, 6740 S. Service Drive in Waterford. The doors open to the public at 3 p.m.
  Featured speakers are Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
  Michigan attendees include gubernatorial candidate Rick Snyder and his running mate Brian Calley, secretary of state candidate Ruth Johnson, attorney general candidate Bill Schuette, Michigan Supreme Court Justice Bob Young, Michigan Supreme Court candidate Mary Beth Kelly, 9th Congressional District candidate Rocky Raczkowski, Michigan Senate Majority Leader Mike Bishop of Rochester, and state Rep. Pete Lund.
