Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich will be the featured speaker at a luncheon fundraiser for Bill Schuette at noon Monday, Sept. 13, at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham.
Gingrich, a leader of the conservative movement and the architect of the “Contract with America,” served served with Schuette in the U.S. House.
Schuette is the Republican candidate for Michigan attorney general. His Democratic Party opponent on the Nov. 2 election ballot is Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton.
