Tea party groups, which got started more than a year ago during the congressional debate over health care reform, have sprung up around Oakland County and the country. Now, a blogger on the website Politico reports an anti-tea party effort is underway.
It's launched by progressives using merchandising, chiefly T-shirts, that bluntly say, "F*ck Tea."
Politico reports the effort is part of the Agenda Project, a progressive group aimed at dismissing the tea party movement and promoting a progressive cause.
The effort also comes with a video mocking the tea party movement that can be viewed on YouTube.
It's likely only a matter of time before the shirts and other merchandising find their way to political events around Oakland County.
