Ron W. Harmon, one of three Republicans and one Democrat running for Oakland County commission in the 11th district, is holding a fundraiser from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 11, at 1842 Commonwealth in Auburn Hills. He's asking only that people bring "generosity and a dish to pass."
Other Republicans seeking the GOP nomination in the Aug. 3 primary are Bob Kittle of Auburn Hills and Angela N. River of Auburn Hills. The winner of the primary faces incumbent Democrat Tim Greimel of Auburn Hills in the Nov. 2 general election.
The 11th District represents Auburn Hills, part of Rochester Hills, north part of Pontiac.
