U.S. Rep. Pete Hoekstra, one of five Republicans seeking the GOP nomination for Michigan governor in the Aug. 3 primary, visits Novi Monday, July 19, with state Sen. Nancy Cassis, R-Novi.
They will tour the Michigan CAT facility from 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. and meet with the management team, and hold a business leader roundtable at the Rock Financial Showplace from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Also seeking the Republican nomination are Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard, Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox, Ann Arbor businessman Rick Snyder and state Sen. Tom George.Democrats seeking their party's nomination are Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero and Michigan House Speaker Andy Dillon.
