The Michigan Secretary of State is reminding voters that Tuesday, July 6, is the last day to register to vote in the Aug. 3 primary.
To register, applicants must be 18 years old by Electoin Day and be U.S. citizens, and residents of Michigan and the city or township where they wish to register.
Voters may register by mail, at any Secretary of State branch office or at their county, city or township clerk's office. A mail-in form is available online at www.michigan.gov/sos.
Voters can check their registration status at the Michigan Voter Information Center at www.michigan.gov/vote.
